Franklins Traditional Christmas Goose
Traditionally raised at our Farm, the geese are slow grown to maturity.
They are all prepared here by hand, hung in a dry ageing fridge to ensure flavoursome, rich and succulent meat. They are dry-plucked and hand-finished.
They are presented in a Franklins Goose Box with giblets, goose fat, a pop-out timer and suggested cooking instructions.
Available for Christmas collection or delivery only. Our fresh geese are available from late October (only small geese) until the end of December.
Small 4.5kg - Feeds up to 4 people
Medium 5kg - Feeds up to 6 People
Large 5.5kg-6kg - Feeds 8 People
Xtra large 6.5kg - feeds 10 people
PLEASE NOTE: Guides are approximate and dependent on appetite! Weight of bird includes weight of goose fat and giblets. Birds are banded into weight bands, for example an 5.5kg bird is in the 5 - 5.9kg Band. We will get your bird as close as possible to the size you require.
